With a press of the D-pad, Henry leaped into the Puzzling Realm. Above, he swung his cane at clockwork soldiers and bounced off top-hatted ruffians. But below, on the touch screen, a chaotic tower of multicolored blocks threatened to overflow. The player’s stylus danced. Slide. Match. Pop.
The player exhaled, thumbs cramping but heart racing. On the screen, Henry sat on a digital hill, poured a fresh cup from a bottomless pot, and looked out at the horizon. The screen of the old DS Lite flickered,
"Right then," Henry muttered, his digital voice a crisp, synthesized chirp. "Tea’s brewed. Let’s have a go at it."
"Steady on!" Henry shouted, narrowly dodging a giant brass fist. "The tea is getting cold, but the action is heating up!" The blocks fell faster than the player could tap
