Fantasy Strike is a competitive 2D fighting game designed by David Sirlin (lead designer of Street Fighter II Turbo HD Remix ) to be "mechanically accessible though strategically difficult". Unlike traditional fighting games that require complex joystick rotations, every move in Fantasy Strike is mapped to a single button press, allowing players to focus on strategy and "mind games" rather than execution.
: As of July 2025, free players can also use the Friend Match feature to directly challenge friends without needing the Core Pack.
