This paper explores the development, artistic methodology, and educational impact of Little Mouse’s Encyclopedia , an interactive educational title developed by Circus Atos . Originally conceived as a diploma thesis by illustrator Tereza Vostradovská at the Academy of Arts, Architecture and Design in Prague, the project evolved into a multi-platform digital experience and a published book. By analyzing its hand-painted aesthetic and intuitive gameplay, this study highlights how the game bridges the gap between traditional children's science books and modern interactive media. 1. Origins and Artistic Philosophy
: The story follows a small mouse who, upon discovering roots piercing the ceiling of her burrow, embarks on a journey to document the nature around her. 2. Gameplay Mechanics and Structure
: The game features over 160 species of animals and plants, all hand-painted using delicate brush strokes and separate layers before being digitized for interactive use.
