Check out one of their early collaborations that helped build their reputation in the Atlanta scene: Migos - Life So Hard (Streets On Lock 4) Quality Control Music YouTube• Oct 23, 2015
The Migos originated in Lawrenceville, Georgia, a suburb of Gwinnett County just north of Atlanta. Formed in 2008, the trio—comprising Quavo , Offset , and the late Takeoff —grew up together in the same household, raised by Quavo's mother. This familial bond, with Quavo being Takeoff's uncle and Offset's cousin, became the bedrock of their group dynamic and creative chemistry.
Their rise to prominence began in 2013 with the release of the hit single "Versace." The track’s infectious use of the "triplet flow"—a rapid-fire, three-note rhythmic pattern—redefined the sound of modern trap music. While they did not invent the triplet style, their mastery of it became so influential that it was often dubbed the "Migos flow," eventually catching the attention of Drake, whose remix of "Versace" propelled the trio into the global spotlight.
