After years of on-and-off tension, Veronica and Logan Echolls marry in a quiet courthouse ceremony attended by Keith and Wallace.

Just as the couple prepares for their honeymoon, Veronica deciphers a clue in a limerick Penn had previously written. She realizes Penn planted a bomb in her car, timed to go off during street cleaning. Before she can warn him, Logan goes to move the car and is killed in the explosion.
