Santa Claus is suffering from a centuries-long case of burnout due to modern greed and ungratefulness. While delivering gifts to the Lightstone family estate, a group of mercenaries led by "Mr. Scrooge" (John Leguizamo) takes the family hostage to steal $300 million from their vault. When Santa discovers a young girl named Trudy—who is a true believer—is in danger, he taps into his ancient warrior roots to take down the intruders.
