welcome aboard

Ships of Hagoth is a digital-first literary magazine featuring creative nonfiction and theoretical essays by members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Where other LDS-centric publications often look inward at the LDS tradition, we seek literary works that look outward through the curious, charitable lens of faith.

The file has likely been patched to remove region locks, allowing it to run on any 3DS console regardless of its original region (e.g., PAL or JPN).

Once extracted, the resulting single .cia file is installed to the SD card. Unlike .3DS files used for Citra emulator, .cia files appear directly on the 3DS HOME Menu after installation.

Files sourced from pirate aggregators carry a risk of malware or corrupted data. Using verified libraries like the hShop is often recommended as a safer alternative within the community.

The ".part1.rar" suffix confirms this is a multi-part archive . Because the full game size is approximately 1.56GB (roughly 12,500 blocks), it was split into smaller pieces to bypass file size limits on older hosting sites.

You must have all parts (e.g., .part1, .part2, etc.) in the same folder before extracting. Extracting just part 1 will result in an "unexpected end of archive" or missing data error.

A CALL FOR

IONS

We are hoping—for “one must needs hope”—for creative nonfiction, theoretical essays, and craft essays that seek radical new ways to explore and express theological ideas; that are, like Hagoth, “exceedingly curious.”

We favor creative nonfiction that can trace its lineage back to Michel de Montaigne. Whether narrative, analytical, or devotional, these essays lean ruminative, conversational, meandering, impressionistic, and are reluctant to wax didactic.

As for theoretical essays: we welcome work that playfully and charitably explores the wide world of arts & letters—especially works created from differing religious, non-religious, and even irreligious perspectives—through the peculiar lens of a Latter-day Saint.

We read and publish submissions as quickly as possible, and accept simultaneous submissions.
