If you are still experiencing performance issues on version 1.0.0.2 Hotfix, the community recommends the following:
Use tools like id5 Tweaker to unlock the Field of View (FOV) up to 200 and enable MSAA. To manage this specific version on GOG:
: For those playing on Linux, running the game with Zink (an OpenGL-to-Vulkan translation layer) has been reported to fix hard crashes.
: Some users have reported that version 1.0.0.2 Hotfix may break certain achievements (e.g., saving allied planes in the first mission).
Rename the executable WolfNewOrder_x64.exe to WolfNewOrder_x32.exe .
: If you encounter broken achievements, a common community fix is to use GOG Galaxy to downgrade the game to version 1.0.0.2 (without the hotfix).
Create a text file named steam_appid.txt in the game folder and enter 201810 .
